Data Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with expertise in Azure SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, SQL, ETL processes, and other data management technologies. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architectures to support our data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data integration processes using Azure Data Factory to automate ETL workflows.
- Develop and maintain Azure SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance within Azure environments.
- Stay current with Azure technologies and trends, providing recommendations for improvements and innovations.
- Develop and optimize reports and dashboards using Power BI to support business insights.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Azure technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Azure SQL Server and Azure Data Factory.
- Proficiency in SQL and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with cloud-based data solutions and big data technologies is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with Azure services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Databricks.
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, particularly Power BI, to create impactful dashboards and reports.
