Frontend Developer

We are seeking a full-time frontend developer with 2 to 4 years of experience and a strong command of the UI stack, including JavaScript, Bootstrap 4/5, HTML, and CSS. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about learning and capable of working effectively. The journey ahead is exceptionally exciting, as we assist our clients in rebuilding their WordPress and WPEngine platforms.

What You Will Be Doing:

This position collaborates with the UI/UX (Frontend development) team and will lead the end-to-end application design efforts.

  • Designing and developing user interfaces using Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and WordPress best practices.
  • Adapting interfaces for modern internet applications using the latest front-end technologies.
  • Writing JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap 4/5 and HTML.
  • Making complex technical and design decisions for Bootstrap 4/5.
  • Conducting performance tests.
  • Consulting with the UI/UX team.
  • Ensuring high performance of applications and providing support.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous work experience as a web designer, including expertise in WordPress and WPEngine.
  • Proficiency in CSS, HTML, Bootstrap 4/5, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing front-end JavaScript applications.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, and other open CMS platforms, as well as experience with WPengine or similar CMS products.
  • Willingness to work with ReactJS.
  • Ability and willingness to work on both front-end design development and enhancement tasks.
Skills:
  • JavaScript, Bootstrap 4/5, HTML, CSS, Ajax, jQuery.
  • WordPress, Shopify, and other open CMS experience.
  • Strong desktop computing skills – PowerPoint, Word, Excel.

  • The candidate should excel as an individual contributor, taking on daily responsibilities for developing features and modules within the WordPress product, ensuring excellent quality, and meeting delivery deadlines.
  • Responsibilities include developing, testing, and maintaining robust, scalable, high-quality software.
  • Effective communication skills are a must.
General Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs. (Code must be used in the core version of applications available for sale commercially).
  • Interacts with Lead, project managers, and/or business analysts to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
  • Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
  • Writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.
  • Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.
